Is there any way to rename the track names that appear on the details page of a show in the gray box in the upper left corner? I've corrected the metadata and submitted that and also rederived with no change. The show I am talking about is:

Thanks.

Looks like it worked just fine...sometimes it takes a bit to kick in but I see the names no problem now!

Yea, there are track names there for all tracks except the last track, but they are not correct. The audio file names lower down on the details page are the correct track names. For some reason, the engine/process/program that somehow derives the track names from the TXT file skipped over a track named '420', which should be the first track, and I missed that before submitting the show, so the track names are off by one position in the list. Not a big deal, but just wanted to make it right.

the grey box in the upper right corner is a good way to see what the id3 tags look like without having to play the show. they were based off your old / original metadata filling out. so now you fixed the metadata on the details page files. this is good, but the old mp3 / m3u stream files are al still 'static' and using the track names you originally put. to fix this you need to do a little work:

1. checkout the show (in the 'edit item' link since you are the uploader) it will give you the FTP info of the show. go there, delete ONLY the m3u / mp3 / ogg derivatives. KEEP the xml and seed files. then 'check-in' the show by clicking the link at the bottom of the checkout page.

2. when the show is checked back in, edit the XML page to double check that it is all updated / correct / ready to go. hit 'submit' and then the most up to date xml file will be 'written' and ready.

3. go into the edit screen and hit 'derive' and the engine will create fresh mp3 / m3u (and the grey flash player) with the most up to date song names and the files will then have the right titles.

you must delete the old ones, because just hitting 'derive' will not delete the old ones for you. you have to do that first and then derive fresh ones. good luck!

yeah it will take a few hours for the machines to re-run / re-create the fresh files with the new file names, but it should work ok.
